Westports Make A Difference Day Seeks Volunteers

WESTPORT, Conn. – Westport’s Make A Difference Day, which is set for Saturday, Oct. 25, is looking for volunteers to help with projects the week of Oct. 18 To Oct. 26.

Make a Difference Day is a national day for volunteers to give back to their communities. Those who wish to be involved may work for a charity that is personally meaningful or find a project to work on at the website www.westport-makeadifday.org.

There will be drop-in projects available from 9 a.m. to noon, Saturday, Oct. 25, at the Senior Center. These projects include packing toiletry bags for homeless people, comfort bags for abused women, and arts and crafts kits for children in need.
