Hailing from Jamaica, Bowie has entertained audiences from New York to Japan with his blend of reggae, zydeco and blues-infected ska.

Throughout his career, Bowie has performed with a variety of bands and artists, like the B-52s, Trey Anastasio of Phish, and Widespread Panic.

“With an engaging personality and infectious excitement for his music, Mystic can turn any event into a truly special and memorable experience - tonight will be no exception,” Levitt organizers said.

The concert, appropriate for all ages, will begin at 7 p.m. on Jesup Green. As in the past, the Saugatuck Elementary School auditorium is this year’s designated concert location in case of rain.

For concert location status information, residents can call the Concert Hotline at 203-221-2153 at or after 4:30 p.m. the day of a show.
