Westport Realtor Teams With Rescue Groups To Promote Dog Adoption

WESTPORT, Conn. -- William Pitt Sotheby’s International Realty is joining forces with several Connecticut rescue organizations to promote animal adoption and help dogs find their “Furrr-Ever Home.”

William Pitt Sotheby’s International Realty’s Westport Brokerage is partnering with local animal rescue organizations to host the “Furrr-Ever Home” dog adoption event Nov. 5.

The event will take place at the company’s Westport brokerage, 199 Post Road E., on Saturday, Nov. 5, from 11 a.m.-3 p.m.

Participating organizations include the Westport Animal Shelter Advocates, PAWS, Looking Glass Animal Rescue, Red Leash Rescue and the city of Bridgeport Animal Control.

The event will provide attendees with the opportunity to interact with some of the dogs but will not include on-site adoptions.

Adoption applications and information will be available, however.

Donations will also be accepted.

“Attendees can expect to meet some wonderful Connecticut dogs in need of a second chance,” said Marc Caldarone, manager of Sotheby’s Westport brokerage. “The Westport team is proud to be a part of finding them a loving place to call home.”

The event will also include refreshments and a prize drawing, with opportunities to win NFL and NHL tickets.
