Westport Postpones Fireworks Show Due To Rainy Weather Forecast

WESTPORT, CONN. -- Westport's fireworks celebration has been rescheduled to Monday, July 7, the Westport Police Athletic League and Parks and Recreation Department announced Wednesday.

The event, which was originally scheduled for Thursday, July 3, is being postponed due to the potential for rainy weather.

The celebration will take place at Compo Beach at dusk. Tickets can be purchased at the Westport Police Department at 50 Jesup Road and at the Westport Parks and Recreation office at 260 Compo Road S. Ticket sales are limited and are on a first-come first-serve basis. Firework tickets are $35 per car.
