Books will be available for purchase and signing at the program, which is free and open to the public.

This behind-the-scenes look into the world of cable news follows the character Barbara King, who dreams of becoming the next Barbara Walters.

Jon Scott, anchor of Fox News Channel’s "Happening Now," said: “TV news generally arrives in your home as a polished presentation; you might not give much thought to how it got there. Brigitte Quinn takes you for a riotous ride behind the news set — the inflated egos, turf protectors, sycophants and self-promoters who join forces with the wise and earnest in building the newscasts that reveal the state of our world.”

Quinn has worked in broadcasting for more than 30 years and has been a television anchor at the Fox News Channel, MSNBC and NBC. She holds an MFA in writing from Sarah Lawrence College and a bachelor's from Cornell University and is currently anchoring mornings at 1010 WINS radio in New York City.
