International Games Day is a worldwide annual library event that includes games for the entire family, popular tabletop games and a tournament for the board game Revolution! Prizes and giveaways will be available.
The schedule is as follows:
- The Great Hall (main level), all day: tabletop games. Play classics such as Scrabble or new hits like Settlers of Catan. Bring your own games or play from the library's selection.
- Children's Department, all day: games for families and kids. Bring your own games or play from the library's selections.
- Seminar Room, 1-4 pm: Minecraft Hunger Games tournament. Participate in a worldwide Minecraft tournament. Bring your own laptop with Minecraft installed. Participants must know their Minecraft account information.
- Sheffer Reading Room, noon-5 pm: Revolution! tournament. Join Danielle Nicole Drazen from Steve Jackson Games in a Revolution! tournament. Enter to win giveaways from Steve Jackson Games and from Battlegrounds Gaming in Norwalk.
