Westport Hosts 21st Annual 'First Night' On New Year's Eve

WESTPORT, Conn. -- The towns of Westport and Weston will once again host a "First Night" celebration at various locations throughout Westport starting at 3 p.m. and ending at 10 p.m. on New Year's Eve.

Music and dancing are just some of the activities lined up for the Westport/Weston "First Night" celebration.

Residents must purchase a First Night button in order to gain admission to all venues and events. Buttons can be purchased online for $15 and can be picked up at any of the participating venues after 2 p.m. Wednesday with confirmation of purchase.

Activities for children of all ages will be held at Town Hall, TD Bank, the old YMCA, Jesup Green, Toquet Hall, the Historical Society, Saugatuck Elementary School, the Westport Library and Christ and Holy Trinity Church.
