WESTPORT, Conn. -- Westport Country Playhouse’s Family Festivities Series will present “Fancy Nancy Splendiferous Christmas,” at 11 a.m., 1 p.m. and 4 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 20.
The musical is based on the best-selling book series by author and illustrator team Jane O’Connor and Robin Preiss Glasser.
In the show, Nancy is excited about decorating the Christmas tree, especially because she bought a sparkly tree-topper with her own money. When things don't turn out the way Nancy planned, will Christmas still be splendiferous? Nancy proves once again that a little fancying up can go a long, festive way.
The show is recommended for ages 2-7. All performances are approximately one hour in length, and tickets are $20.
Upcoming Family Festivities presentations are:
- “Chicken Dance,” at 1 and 4 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 31 is a new musical, based on the award-winning book by Tammi Sauer, illustrated by Dan Santat, produced by ArtsPower.
