Families can create lenticular images, magic wand dream sticks and fantasy shadow boxes. A local teaching artist will assist children at each art station.
“Family Art Days are an excellent opportunity to introduce young children to the fun and adventure of creating art,” Westport Arts Center Education Manager Lindsay Heffernan said in a statement. “Working together, kids and their parents can create some truly amazing art works with each of our stations offering unique ways to manipulate, construct and decorate with different materials.”
Admission is $10 per child. Adults and children 2 years old and younger are free.
