Sherwood Island Nature Center Spotlights Reptiles

WESTPORT, Conn. – Reptiles big and small take center stage at the Sherwood Island Nature Center in Westport this week through Saturday during Reptile Week.

Drop by the nature center to go face-to-face with its resident corn snakes and turtles. On Saturday, visitors can see and learn about exotic reptiles from the Beardsley Zoo at the East Beach from 1 to 3 p.m.

In addition to getting up close and personal with these creatures, kids can participate in a variety of reptile-themed craft projects. The center is open Wednesdays through Sundays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
