David Heald, director of photographic services at the Guggenheim Museum in New York will present “Edward Steichen and Paul Caponigro-Seeing the Redding Landscape” that shows the work of the 20th century photographers with video clips of each photographer.
Steichen served in the Army during World War I, produced military photography and was also renowned for his fashion photography that appeared in Conde Nast magazines.
Caponigro works with photo-based digital imaging as his primary medium and his work crosses the line between photography and painting.
