WESTPORT, Conn. – The Irish quartet and step dancing group Themselves will perform Sunday, Jan. 11, at the Westport Public Library.

The concert, to be held from 2 to 3 p.m. in celebration of the WestportREADS 2015 program, will include harp, violin, and guitar music.

The poems, songs, and stories of famous Irish author James Joyce will also be part of the program.

Themselves formed in the 1990s, and in 2000 added a storyteller to their group. Over the years, they expanded to include an Irish step dancer and gained success performing “An Immigrant's Story” in concert throughout the state under the auspices of Young Audiences of Connecticut.

Current members of Themselves are Lynn Bowman, Erin Collins, Ally Giannini, Wendy Kerner, Kate O’Brien, and Edward Wright.

The event, titled Dubliners 101, will be held in the McManus Room of the Westport Public Library, 20 Jesup Road.
