WESTPORT, Conn. -- "And a Nightingale Sang," a World War II love story presented by the Westport Country Playhouse, wows the audience with an extraordinary performance, according to the New York Times.

The production of this play by C.P. Taylor shares touching and funny moments with the audience and leaves no emotion unaffected. With a memorable performance by the play's ensemble, not a detail is missed including the lights and sound, according to the New York Times.

"And a Nightingale Sang" will continue with performances on Tuesday, June 23 at 7 p.m.; Wednesday, June 24 at 2 p.m. and 8 p.m.; Thursday, June 25 at 8 p.m.; Friday, June 26 at 8 p.m.; and Saturday, June 27 at 2 p.m. and 8 p.m.
