Dead Body Found Hanging In Toms River Woods

Multiple police agencies responded to a report of a dead body found hanging from a tree in Ocean County, authorities said.

The body was reportedly found about 6 p.m. on Wednesday in the woods near Fischer Boulevard and Hooper Avenue, according to initial reports. 

Toms River police were treating the death as a possible suicide, according to an unconfirmed report.
