WESTON, Conn. -- A 10-piece blues band is set to play the La Roue Elayne at the Cobbs Mill Inn in Weston on Saturday, Nov. 23.
Generation Blues Band is a blues, R&B and Motown band based in Fairfield County. Lead guitarist Mike Chervansky established the band helmed by frontman Tom Grande. Generation Blues Band "covers from Detroit to Texas to New Orleans and everything in between," group members said.
Mario Pirulli plays drums, Chris Segovia plays bass and Rob Maresca plays lead guitar and "brings skill, style and structure to a powerhouse group, while Maggie Pangrazio on lead vocals and Elizabeth Ashkins on keys and lead vocals add silk and soul to the boys’ club," group members said.
"With an unbeatable brass section that will blow your minds, Generation Blues Band puts their mark on the classics and will have you on your feet dancing in one song flat," members said.
