SoNo Arts Celebration

PUPPET PARADE!!! The Annual Puppet Parade will take place on Sunday, August 5th at 1:30. Hundreds of puppets will be on display getting ready all morning, come and check them out, set one aside for yourself to carry! PARADE ASSEMBLES AT 1pm. This year Sono is excited to welcome Puppeteer, Sculptor & Educator Anne Cubberly (www.annecubberly.com) EXHIBITING ARTS The SoNo Arts Celebration features approximately 150 juried exhibiting fine artists & craftspersons. Each artist submits slides of their work and display booth, and is judged in one of 10 categories: painting, sculpture, photography, printmaking, wood, ceramics, jewelry/metalsmithing, fiber, mixed media or glass. Artists are selected based on the quality and originality of their work and how they display it. Since the SoNo Arts Celebration emphasizes education, all exhibiting artists are required to be present during the show and available to explain or demonstrate the materials and processes used in their works. Exhibiting Artist booths will be open: Sat Aug 4th & Sun Aug 5th - from 10am – 5pm
