Families from around the area gathered in the library's auditorium before the roll to decorate their hard-boiled eggs with bright Easter colors. Kids also had the opportunity to meet the Easter Bunny, play Easter-themed games, pet a live rabbit and dance the Bunny Hop.

After their eggs were all decorated, the hundreds in attendance headed into the sun and warm weather on the library's Great Lawn for the egg roll.

Kids from ages 2 to 12 shouted in excitement as they pushed their eggs across the lawn with a wooden spoon in a race to the finish line. Winners were awarded Easter candy for having the fastest egg in their age group.
