The gala will feature a roster of big-name Broadway performers, including Julia Murney ("Wicked," "The Wild Party"), Alysha Umphress ("On The Town," "American Idiot"), Mia Gentile ("Kinky Boots") and more. Gentile, who is currently starring on Broadway in the Tony Award-winning musical "Kinky Boots," is originally from Westport.

The company’s co-founder and Executive Director Tyler Paul, who is also a Westport native, is excited about the gala.

“Between the all-star talent and the incredible live auction packages we’ve been able secure, this is sure to be the ultimate gathering for our community’s patrons and fans of musical theatre," Paul said.

The live auction will feature a remarkable array of offerings that includes exclusive premium tickets to professional sporting events, house seats and backstage tours of Broadway's hottest shows (including a private meet-and-greet with Westport resident and superstar Kelli O’Hara), a luxurious Africa Safari getaway and much more.

The Northeast Children’s Theatre Company was founded in 2010 and is a not-for-profit arts education and professional theatre company based in Westport; it brings theatre for young audiences to schools in the tri-state area and provides educational programming to underserved children in disadvantaged communities.

Proceeds from “Broadway in Connecticut” will help the organization fund its 2015-16 after-school drama workshops and in-school theatrical residencies, as well as sustain its professional on-the-road touring company. This year’s programming will touch the lives of as many as 5,000 children throughout the city of Bridgeport alone.

Standard tickets are $30 and $50 with special VIP tickets at $125. All VIP tickets offer access to preferred seating, a pre-show reception, and post-show meet-and-greet. For more information and to purchase tickets, visit www.nctcompany.org/gala or call 203-856-8034.

The Branson Hall is located at the Christ & Holy Trinity Church on 75 Church Lane, Westport.
