WESTPORT, Conn. -- Renowned author and human rights advocate Salman Rushdie will lecture at the Staples High School Auditorium on Oct. 22 at 7:30 p.m.
Rushdie will autograph copies of his latest novel "Two Years Eight Months and Twenty-Eight Nights" after the program. His other books include "The Satanic Verses," "The Moor's Last Sigh" and the Booker Prize winning "Midnight's Children."
The lecture is the Westport Library's annual Malloy Lecture in the Arts.
