A private preview from land trust members will be held at the library from 5 to 6 p.m. A reception for the public will follow from 6 to 8 p.m. in the community room.
The exhibit will feature artists from Weston, Easton and Fairfield, including work from Pamela Einarson of Westport and James Prosek of Easton.
The fundraising exhibition focuses on the work of nearly 40 regional artists and celebrates 47 years since ALT began acquiring and preserving open space in Westport, Weston, Easton and Fairfield. The goal of this event is to raise awareness and funds to aid the trust's ongoing role in the preservation and conservation of local natural resources in Fairfield County.
Artists have agreed to donate a significant percentage of their proceeds from sales at the exhibit to benefit the Land Trust's conservation and education programs. The public reception will include a silent auction.
Residents can join the Aspetuck Land Trust online. For more information and to see the works on display visit this website.
David Brant is the Executive Director of the Aspetuck Land Trust.
