WESTON, Conn. – The second annual Arts Bloom in Weston will be held Saturday at Emmanuel Episcopal Church.

The event will showcase works from artists of all levels from southern Connecticut, including Weston residents Carol Baldwin, Christine Juneau, Carole McClintock, Nancy Reinker, Joel Sobelson, and Maureen Tartaglia.

Categories of art will be ceramics, collages, drawing, glass, mixed media, paintings, photography, printmaking, sculpture, and textiles.

A portion of the proceeds from Arts Bloom in Weston will benefit the nonprofit organizations Weston’s Friends of Lachat and The Schubert Club of Fairfield County, according to a press release.

“The event brings artists and art lovers together in a unique event. We’re thrilled to be able to showcase and share the talent of Fairfield County’s artistic community in a way that benefits local charities as well as the artists. All are invited to join us for this celebration of creativity in our beautiful new parish hall,” The Rev. Katy Piazza, priest-in-charge at Emmanuel Episcopal Church, said in a press release.

Arts Bloom in Weston will include light refreshments, wine, and live piano music from Justine Macurdy of The Schubert Club.

Tickets are $35.
