Acoustic Cubed To Open Weston's Blanket And Chairs Concert

WESTON, Conn. -- The 2014 Weston Memorial Day Fair Blanket and Chairs concert will be headlined by Acoustic Cubed on Saturday, May 24.

Acoustic Cubed, made up of three eighth-grade band members from Weston Middle School, Ben Averick, Shane Mandell and Jayson Pinals, will open the 2014 Weston Memorial Day Fair Blanket and Chairs concert at 3:45 p.m. at Hurlbutt Elementary School at 9 School Road in Weston.

Ben Averick, Shane Mandell and Jayson Pinals will headline the concert that features youth bands from around Fairfield County playing 30-minute sets on the field behind Hurlbutt Elementary School.

Audience members are invited to bring portable chairs and blankets. Food truck and carnival fare will be available onsite.

4:30 – 5:00 Dysfunctional 4
5:15 – 5:45 Wired
6:00 – 6:30 Amusing
6:45 – 8:15 School of Rock House Band
