But for those who aren’t hosting and without an invite, there are plenty of places in the Westport and Fairfield area that are ready for Super Sunday.

If you’re looking for a good place to watch the game, The Daily Voice has three places nearby that are worth consideration:

  • 323, a restaurant and bar on Main Street, is the best bet for anyone looking to stay in town for Sunday’s face-off between the Seattle Seahawks and New England Patriots. The Main Street eatery is relatively new, opening its doors in April 2013, and boasting “the largest [TV] in Westport.” And while 323 is a great spot for American cuisine and seafood, Sunday’s game will be backed by menu designed just for the Super Bowl. Wait staff dressed in cheerleader gear for the event will be serving wing specials starting at $5.50 and 12-inch pizzas starting at $13. Patrons can also enjoy a fully stocked bar and an array of domestic, import and craft beers.
  • If you’re looking for better deals and local brews, a short trip up US 1 to Southport Brewing Company will be the plan for you. While the local brewery/restaurant doesn’t have a Super Bowl menu, they will be running their seasonal football Sunday specials. House beer - all SBC beers - wine and liquor will run you $3 a drink. Their bar area is stocked with TVs, and orders of wings, pizza and chicken tenders are all $5 each.
  • For the ultimate viewing experience, football fans will want to head a little farther down US 1 to Fairfield’s downtown, where Anna Liffey’s Irish Pub is sporting a 15-foot projector where they will be showing the big game. The almost hidden bar on Post Road has two bars, plenty of seating and will be the spot for anyone looking to win big Feb. 1. Every Yuengling beer sold on Sunday will be accompanied by a raffle ticket for a 32-inch Insignia flat screen that will be given away during the fourth quarter. And, if you’re not in need of another TV, the Anna Liffey’s pool is open to patrons at just $10 a box, with winnings paid out on game day.
