Westport Resources CEO Named Among Top 100 Financial Advisors

WESTPORT, Conn. – John Adams Vaccaro, founder and CEO of Westport Resources, has been named one of Barron’s “Top 100 Independent Financial Advisors” in America for the sixth straight year.

Westport Resources is a leading independent investment and financial planning firm serving individuals, families, municipalities and institutions around the world.

Barron’s, published by Dow Jones & Company, is a top weekly financial newspaper in the United States. Ranked 47th (up from 73rd last year), Vaccaro is one of only two Connecticut-based financial advisers on the list.

Barron’s reports that clients of the Top 100 independents tend to be very satisfied. As a group, the Top 100 have a client retention rate of 98 percent.

Westport Resources was founded in 1986 and has an office in Naples, Fla., as well. The firm’s wealth management arm, Westport Resources Management Inc., specializes in managing assets for a select Private Client Group of individuals, families, municipalities and not-for-profit organizations.
