Stratford's First Popeyes Is Going Up Louisiana Fast

STRATFORD, Conn. — Used to be you had to cross a town border to score some of Popeyes' signature fried chicken, butterfly shrimp and fluffy Southern biscuits.

Popeyes is coming soon to Stratford's The Dock Shopping Center.

Not so come spring, as the Louisiana-style eatery opens its first Stratford location in The Dock Shopping Center.

Crews are putting the finishing touches on the quintessential bright orange building, which will include a drive-through lane.

The new Stratford Popeyes will join locations on Fairfield Avenue and North Avenue in Bridgeport and one at the Westfield Trumbull mall.
