Retail Building On Post Road East In Westport Sells For $3.75M

WESTPORT, Conn. -- Westport-based HK Group has finalized the sale of the retail property at 950 Post Road E. in Westport for $3.75 million.

The 950 Post Road East building is currently leased to Men’s Wearhouse Inc., a national clothing retailer.

The 6,843-square-foot retail building was built in 1989 and sits on a 0.64-acre lot zoned highway service district.

The deal was handled at HK Group by Bill Simson, vice president, and Franco Fellah, executive vice president.

HK Group represented the buyer, Forstone Capital. Tim Gibbons of First Street Inc. represented the seller, Humble Westport.

Attorney Andrew R. Cohen of Leland, Parachini, Steinberg, Matzger & Melnick of San Francisco represented the seller, and attorney Charles J. Spiess of Diserio, Martin, O’Connor & Castiglioni represented the buyer.
