First Dover Saddlery Store In State To Open In Ridgefield

RIDGEFIELD, Conn. -- The first Dover Saddlery Store in Connecticut will open with a celebration Friday, Dec. 11 at the CVS Plaza, 720 Branchville Road.

The grand opening at 9 a.m. will include a ribbon cutting, a donation to Pegasus Therapeutic Riding and a giveaway to the first 50 customers to enter the store.

Those who attend the festivities will receive grand opening specials, and can enter for a chance to win a $500 shopping spree.

The facility will offer the leading equestrian brands, as well as many Dover exclusive items. In-store services will include custom boot and coat fitting, monogramming and a saddle testing program.

Now in its 40th year of service, Pegasus Therapeutic Riding provides the benefits of equine-assisted activities and therapies to people with special needs, military veterans and individuals at risk.
