Barbara Butler, director of the Westport Department of Human Services, said the CTWorks Career Coach will offer a beginner’s class in Microsoft Office PowerPoint 2007 from 10 a.m. to noon and an intermediate class from 1 to 3 p.m.
“By offering the CTWorks Career Coach in the Westport area, many residents who wish to improve their computer skills in the Microsoft Office 2007 software will find it convenient and useful in pursuing their personal goals,” Butler said.
The Career Coach, a training center tour bus, is equipped with the best mobile computing systems. It features 10 wireless computer labs that offer free computer classes to residents throughout the region.
The mobile bus operates on a monthly schedule. In addition, the bus accommodates and provides services to those with disabilities.
