The chef-driven local eatery, voted "Best Breakfast" and "Best Coffee Shop" in Greenwich for this year's "Best of the Gold Coast," will open Roost in Darien in early 2018.

Located in the center spot of the new construction at 1950 Post Road, Roost will feature scratch-made breakfast, lunch and dinner made with fresh ingredients from local farms and providers. It will also feature a coffee and tea program featuring Path Coffee Roasters (of Port Chester) and Arogya Teas (of Westport).

The restaurant is owned by Mike and Krista Pietrafeso. Mike trained at the French Culinary Institute and under Bill Taibe of Le Farm, The Whelk, Kawa Ni and Jesup Hall. He was recognized as one of this year's "Most Innovative Chefs" at the Greenwich Wine and Food Festival.
