Before that happens, shoppers can get deep discounts of 50 percent to 70 percent on all items, according to a Facebook post.

"There are only a few days left before we close our store," the Facebook post said. "This is your opportunity to buy our beautiful clothes, with a deep discount. ... Take this once in a lifetime opportunity to save a buck and buy a nice outfit or a winter jacket for your child."

The store's tables, cubes, and shelves are also for sale. "Everything must go," the Facebook post said.

The store has been in New Canaan for nearly three years.

The landlord was seeking a 3 percent increase in rent, which was too high to sign another lease, store owner Christian Eisenbeiss told the New Canaan Advertiser.
