WESTPORT, Conn. — Author and corporate creativity consultant Bryan Mattimore will discuss his book "21 Days to a Big Idea" at 7 p.m. Tuesday in the Westport Library’s McManus Room.

Mattimore’s book explores the path to inspiration, modification and realization of new ideas. What is the secret to innovation? How do people come up with new ideas and methods that catch on with the general public? What is the process that turns a concept into a beloved product or service?
Hear how to deal with these issues in today’s highly competitive world. Mattimore is a “new product guru,” author and the co-founder of the Growth Engine Innovation Agency. He has served as an ideation consultant for major Fortune 500 companies, including Kraft, Unilever, AT&T, Merck and Pepsi.
He has appeared in national radio and podcast interviews and has served as a contributor to Fast Company magazine, among others. The author of three books on business creativity and innovation, he has led more than 200 successful innovation projects, facilitated more than 1,000 brainstorming sessions and 500 focus groups leading to more than $3 billion in new products and services for one-third of the Fortune 100 companies.
